We all owe someone...

Before the pride of self-made stories takes over, pause and remember that no one ever climbs alone. Behind every triumph stands a quiet pillar: a parent’s sacrifice, a mentor’s belief, a friend’s presence, or even a stranger’s timely grace. You may have built the house brick by brick, but who handed you the first one? Who gave you shelter when your foundation was shaking? Who reminded you of your worth when you had none left to give?
We all owe someone.... who showed up when we didn’t deserve it, who believed when we had nothing to offer, who forgave us when we couldn’t forgive ourselves. Owe them your humility. Owe them your integrity. Owe them your becoming. Because even if the world claps for your glory, it’s their quiet contribution that shaped your story.
Gratitude isn’t a favor. It’s a lifelong debt...paid not through grand gestures, but in how you carry your character, in the discipline you uphold when no one’s watching, in the grace you extend when power is finally yours, in the way you honor the hands that once held you steady.
