Shailu is the Founder of Magna Education, a global school for entrepreneurship dedicated to empowering individuals with the skills to create, innovate, and lead. He also serves as Chairman of the Colosseum Group, a Chicago-based enterprise with global operations in venture capital, education, creative branding, and strategic communications. Additionally, he is a Venture Partner at Emerge Education Ventures (Europe) and Dallas Venture Capital, where he actively mentors, invests in, and advises high-potential startups across the globe. Over the years, he has supported over 50 startups, while teaching and guiding more than 5,000 senior executives on topics like strategy, innovation, culture, purpose, and leadership communication.
Previously, Shailu was the Founder-CTO of several successful EdTech companies:
EdAssist (acquired by Bright Horizons, Bain Capital) : Revolutionized corporate learning and tuition management.
Strateology (acquired by University Ventures) : Pioneered AI-powered strategic learning platforms.
Examity (acquired by Great Hill Partners) : Transformed the landscape of online proctoring and academic integrity.
He also led the Technology Innovation Program at CVS Pharmacy, a Fortune 10 company, building scalable enterprise platforms. Earlier roles at Motorola, Delta Airlines, and GlaxoSmithKline culminated in his recognition as #1 Worldwide Employee at Xerox ACS in 2005.
