Trust: a noun and a verb

Trust is both a noun and a verb. But too often, people chase the comfort of being trusted without doing the work that builds it. If you want trust from others, show it first: in what you say, in what you follow through, in how you listen, how you hold confidences, how you act when no one’s watching.
Trust isn’t just a belief we receive; it’s an action we prove. Don’t demand the noun unless you’ve lived the verb. And never expect more from others than you’re willing to embody yourself.
