“Happiness is a transaction with outcomes...win, and it rewards you, lose and it robs you. "Flow" rejects such a bargain. It isn’t a reaction to results but the current inside the act itself, the state of being fully alive in the doing. Outcomes can inflate or deflate happiness, but they have no claim over flow.”
